MERCY SKY MISSIONS is the evangelistic and missionary driven vision of Dawn Dyson Ministries. While on a mission trip to Cuba with another organization, Dawn encountered two young people in desperate need. One was a girl who needed surgery for a severe spinal curvature, but no medical care was available for her. The other was a boy, begging for food, who was so weak from undernourishment, he could barely stand up to ask for help. While the mission trip was successful regarding evangelism, the team was ill-prepared to meet any tangible needs and these two children were left behind just as they were found. To Dawn, this was unacceptable~every soul matters to God. The teachings of Christ include spiritual and physical healing, both. The memory of these two children is very much alive in Dawn’s heart today, and the reason propelling Mercy Sky Missions. We endeavor to not only bring the Gospel to the lost and hurting world, but to come prepared to help those special individuals the Lord places on the pathway. We go and tell, and bring healing, in Jesus' Name.
